Graduate Diploma & Master Landscape Architecture

The Graduate Diploma in Design and Technology develops skills and knowledge relating to design, technology and theory in landscape architectural studies. The course covers landscape theory, design and technology, enabling non-design graduates to appreciate the principles of landscape design. Upon successful completion of the course, graduates may seek admission to the following professionally accredited Master of Landscape Architecture program.

The Master of Landscape Architecture builds on theoretical and practical skills and knowledge gained in the Graduate Diploma. The course has a unique emphasis on Canberra as a landscape laboratory where real-world projects and speculative design scenarios are critically interrogated and explored. This course combines design, research and professional industry experience as part of a focused curriculum. Students work in an interdisciplinary learning environment to understand and respond to the complex social, political and cultural implications of building environment design.
