Bachelor of Civil Engineering
The Bachelor of Civil Engineering prepares civil engineers for their roles in the design, construction and maintenance of essential infrastructure such as buildings, roads, dams, water supply systems, railways and airports. It provides students with the training and experience in an industry of significant skills shortage and providing excellent linkages to local employers.
The course supports strong theoretical training with intensive practical training and experience. Key features of the course include: services in civil engineering practice and management; project work; field trips to support class-based learning; industry-based learning (three options available); and an extensive range of supporting scholarships.
